Barbara Bretton - Wish You Were Here: Day One

I lost a dear friend last week. Joyce Bradsher, auctioneer/artist/musician/web designer extraordinaire, lost her battle with malignant melanoma. She was 45 years old.

I'd wanted to tell you about my November release, about some good professional news on the horizon, but it all pales before the reality that someone I loved and admired is gone and I don't quite know why.

Would you do me a favor? Reach out to a friend you've lost touch with. Mend a fence or two. Start that project you've been putting off for one reason or another. Don't wait another minute to start living your life because it can all be over in the blink of an eye. And, if you have a moment, say a prayer for Joyce who left us way too soon.
