Who can resist a great blueberry recipe? (Not me.)
BLUEBERRY COFFEECAKE FROM GRANDMA EL
Into a bowl, sift 2 C sifted flour and 4 t baking powder, 1/2 t salt. Blend n 3/4 C sugar and 1 1/2 T butter. In measuring cup beat 1 egg with enough milk to measure 3/4 C plus 2 T. Beat mixture into flour mixture. Stir in 1 C blueberries and transfer the batter to a buttered 8 inch square baking pan, spreading evenly.
In small dish, combine 3 T sugar with 1 t cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture over the batter. Bake cake in preheated 350 degree oven for 49 minutes or until well browned and pulling away from sides of pan.
