New month. New look. New recipe. New book. New contest.
And there you have it: Everything you need to know in ten words!
New Month: I admit to having a certain affection for June . . . probably because its
my birthday month. Or maybe it's because no matter how old I get, the old school calendar somehow
still seems to govern my life. June definitely has a "school's out" vibe to it that I still respond
to even though school's been out for me for a long time! (And that also explains why September
feels like the start of the year for me, all crisp and expectant, like a brand new notebook and
freshly sharpened pencils.)
New Look: I think Willa outdid herself! The website was overdue for a mini-makeover and
Willa managed to combine two of my favorite things (writing and knitting) in a way I absolutely
love. We'll be tweaking it over the next month or two. Let me know what you think, okay? You can
reach me here.
New Recipe: Kali, our beloved Food Goddess, dishes up a fabulous Gazpacho that had m mouth
watering just reading it. Gazpacho goes hand-in-hand with warm summer days although I love it
so much I enjoy it year round.
New Book: A WEDDING IN PARIS is on the stands now! Click here to read a sample.
New Contests: We have our regular contest going on here but that's not all. I'm running
two blog contests that the knitters (or wannabe knitters) among you might be interested in.
Visit me at my
personal blog and at Romancing The Yarn for details.
And that's the latest from your correspondent in sunny central New Jersey.
Warmly,
