Adopt-A-Platoon
Adopt-A-Platoon
Hello wonderful patriots! My name is Ida Hägg and I'm sending a quick note
on behalf of the AdoptaPlatoon. We are in urgent need for married / family
supporters for our deployed married soldiers in Afghanistan and particular,
Iraq. You should have already received your soldier(s), but I'm writing to
ask for a favor. Would you help by spreading the word in your community that
our soldiers need us? Please, let your friends, family members, co-workers,
and neighbors know that the AAP has thousands of deployed married soldiers
on our database and yet, we do not have enough families to link them. It's
hard to believe how many soldiers we have on our rosters. The AAP does not
have the funding for advertising and must depend on volunteers and word of
mouth to operate. So please, if you would spread the word of this need, we
and our soldiers would be deeply grateful.
The information we need from potential supporters can be found on our
website at www.adoptaplatoon.org by clicking on "How to Support a Soldier"
or they can send their name, ground mailing address, evening phone number
and the information that they are a family willing to "adopt" a U.S.
deployed service member to:
Nanny Fran
AdoptaPlatoon
P.O. Box 674
Kingston, N.H. 03848
We pray that God will bless each and every blessing you send to the troops.
Never forget that your support means so much! Thank you and God bless, ida -

Due to the huge amount of AAP work, I will not be able to respond to this
email.
AdoptaPlatoon Soldier Support Effort
Mission Statement
The AdoptaPlatoon Soldier Support Effort is a nonprofit 501C-3 organization
managed nationwide by volunteer mothers to ensure that deployed United
States Service members in all branches of the military are not forgotten and
to promote patriotism in our schools and communities. To provide a better
deployment quality of life, lift morale, and assist military families, the
AAP created projects that meet the need of military requests, established
special projects for holidays, and assigns individual morale lifting mail
support to service members of all braches of the U.S. military serving their
Nation around the world.
